Restrain thy hands from vio- lence and injustice; this is thy salutation. 3. To beat. 4. To give alms. هاتهہ اوٿ لينا hāth oṭ lenā, To receive with both hands open and stretched out together. هاتهہ باندهنا hāth-bāndh- nā, To join the hands in a supplicating posture. هاتهہ بڙهانا hāth baṛhānā, 1. To endeavour to get any thing. 2. To gain possession of the property of others. هاتهہ بند هونا hāth band honā, 1. To be much engaged in business, to have no leisure. 2. To be poor or indigent. هاتهہ بهرنا hāth bharnā, To have the hands wearied or fatigued. هاتهہ بيٿهنا hāth baiṭhnā, To acquire perfection in any art by practice. هاتهہ پانوپهول جاني hāth pāṅw phūl jāne (lit. The hands and feet to become swelled) To be distressed or confounded. هاتهہ پانوپهيلانا hāth pāṅw phailānā, To extend oneʼs business or schemes. هاتهہ پانو يا پيومارنا hāth-pāṅw or -pair mārnā, 1. To strive, to endeavour, to strain, toil,
