هوتا جاتا hotā jātā S̱. s. m. Coming and going. S̱. H. هوتا رهيگا hotā rahegā, An expression used in reply to terms of abuse; implying that "what "you have said of me is applicable to yourself." Mīr says:-- تويون گاليان غيرکوشوق سي دي همين کچهہ کہيگا توهوتا رهيگا Tū yoṅ gāliyāṅ g̠ẖair ko shauḳ se de; hameṅ kuchh kahegā to hotā rahegā, Give this abuse, if you please, to some other person; what you say of me will recoil on yourself.

هرسنگار harsingār शृंगारहार S̱. s. m. The weeping Nyctanthes. (Nyctanthes arbor tris- tis).

همه hama P adj. All, the whole, every one. همه دان hama-dān, Knowing every thing, expe- rienced, wise, all-wise, omniscient. همه داني hama-dān-ī, s. f. Omniscience.

هر har P adj. Every, any. هرآن har ān, 1. Constantly. 2. Whenever. هرايک har ek, Every one, each. هرباب har bāb, Every chapter, all sciences, every circumstance. هربابي har-bāb-ī, Master of knowledge of every kind; a factotum. هربار har bār, Every time. هرجاٴي har-jā-ī, adj. Vagabond, stroller. هرحال har ḥāl, Howsoever. هردل عزيز har-dil-aﻌzīz, Beloved by every one, popular. هردم har dam, Every moment. هردم خيالي har-dam- ḵẖiyāl-ī, Whimsical, capricious. هرديگي چمچه har-degī-chamcha, A sponger, one who hangs on others for a maintenance, a busy meddling per- son. هرکاري har-kār-ī, Attending to all sorts of business. هرکدام har kudām, or هرکس har kas, or هرکوئي har koʼī, Every one, whoever. هرکہين har-kahīṅ, Every where. هرکيون har- kyūṅ, By every means, in every way. هرگاه har-gāh, adv. 1. Whenever, always. 2. Where- ever, every where. هروقت har waḳt, At all times, always. هريک har yak, Every one, each, a piece.

هوٿهہ hoṭh S̱. (or dakh. hūṭ) s. m. The lip. See هونٿهہ.

هيا hiyā S̱. (हृद् or हृदय) s. m. Heart, breast, mind, soul, life. S̱. هي 1. hī (हि) emphatick affix or adv. Very exactly, even, indeed, truly, only. 2. he (from हौनौं in Braj) Were.

هلراونا halrāwnā H v. a. To amuse, to play with, to dandle.

هٿاؤ haṭāʼo H (from هٿنا) s. (dakh.) Falling back, retiring, flinching.
