هنڐيان hunḍiyān S̱. s. m. Exchange, or price paid for a bill of exchange.

هٿتال haṭ-tāl S̱. (from هاٿ A shop, and تالا A lock) s. f. Shutting up all the shops in a market (on account of oppression, &c.).

هرد hirad हृद् S̱. s. m. Heart, breast, mind, soul, life.

هونکنا honknā H or hūnknā or haunknā, v. n. To pant, to puff and blow.

هلکور hilkor हिल्लोल S̱. s. f. 1. Agitation, fluc- tuation. 2. A wave, a billow.

هرن हरण haraṇ S s. m. 1. Theft, plunder, taking away by force. 2. Subtraction. 3. The hand. هرن دکهہ haraṇ-dukh, Taking away or dissipating grief or trouble.

هما hummā H s. m. The sudden influx of the tide at new and full moon, commonly called the bān. (Beng.).

هستناپر हस्तिनापुर hastinā-pur S s. m. An- cient Dihlī, the capital of Yudhish̤ṭhira and his brethren, the remains of which still exist, about 57 miles N. E. of the modern city, on the banks of the old channel of the Ganges.

هڙبڙي haṛbaṛī H s. f. Hurry, alarm, uproar, riot, disorder, hastiness, hubbub.

هڙبڙانا haṛbaṛānā H v. n. To be confused, to hurry.
