هم ham P conj. Also, even, same, likewise, in the same manner, equally. (In compos.) Together, with, mutual, mutually, similar, same, equal; as, هم آغوش ham-āg̠ẖosh, Embracing, locked in each otherʼs arms. هم آغوشي ham-āg̠ẖosh-ī, s. f. Embrace. هم آواز ham-āwāz, Of the same tone or voice, consonant; agreeing together; a comrade, companion. هم آوازي ham-āwāz-ī, s. f. Concord, accordance. هم آهنگ ham-āhang, Harmonious, concordant. هم بزم ham-bazm, Of the same society, associating together. هم بستر ham-bistar, Sleeping together, lying on the same bed, bedfellow. هم بستري ham-bistar-ī, s. f. Of equal weight; equal, matched. هم جليس ham-jalīs, Fellow-sitter. هم جنب ham-jamb, Sitting together, a friend. هم جنس ham-jins, Con- substantials, of the same kind or species; homogeneous, congenial; fellow-creature. هم جنسي ham-jins-ī, s. f. Consubstantiality, the being of the same kind. هم جوار ham-jawār, A townsman, a neighbour. هم جولي ham-jolī, An equal, peer, coeval. هم چشم ham-chashm, An equal, coequal, fellow. هم چشمي ham-chashm-ī, s. f.
