وسواس waswās A (from وسوس) s. m. 1. The temp- tations of the devil, distraction of mind. 2. Doubt, suspense, hesitation, apprehension, sus- picion, dread, perplexity, superstition, scrupu- lousness, fluctuation (of mind).

وسعت wusʼaﻌt A (from وسع Heb. and Aram. ) s. f. 1. Latitude, amplitude, space, extent. 2. Leisure, convenience, opportunity, ease.

و वि wi S prep. Denoting disunion, separation, division, distinction; away, apart, distinct. It is the reverse of सम्.

ورثه wars̤a A s. m. Heritage; a bequest (Harris). ¶ waras̤a, s. plur. (of وارث) Heirs.

واه wāh P f. interj. (expressive of admiration, grief or fear) Bravo! well done! excellent! alas! fy! واه وا يا واه wāh-wā, or -wāh, f. Bravo! bravo! how excellent! how strange! admira- ble! Ha!
