وسواسي waswās-ī A. adj. Doutful, causing sus- pense, distracting, apprehensive, scrupulous.

واجبي wājib-ī A. adj. Necessary, expedient, al- lowable; that which is necessary or expedient.

وفق wafḳ A s. m. 1. A sufficiency. 2. Concord, agreement, congruity.

وکهالنا wukhālnā H v. a. (dakh.) To vomit.

ويراني wairān-ī P or wīrān-ī, s. f. Desolation, de- population, destruction, desert places.

وار wār P (in compos. means) 1. Like, resem- bling. 2. Having, possessing, endowed with; as, شاه وار shāh-wār, Worthy of a king. اميد وار ummaid-wār, Hopeful.

ووهين wo-hīṅ H adv. See ونہين wuṅhīṅ.

وافي wāfī A (part. act. of وفي) adj. 1. Sincere, honourable. 2. Entire, complete. 3. Plentiful, numerous.

والا wālā H m. Denotes (in compos.) agent, doer, keeper, man, inhabitant, master, lord, possessor, owner; as, رکهوال يا والا raḵẖ-wāl, or -wālā, A keeper; ناووالا nāw-wālā, Boatman; دلي وال يا والا dillī-wāl, or -wālā, In- habitant of Dillī; گهروالا ghar-wālā, Master or keeper of a house; لکهني والا likhne-wālā, Writer; هوني والا hone-wālā, Becoming, about to be.
