ننهان nannhāṅ H adj. Small, diminutive, neat, natty, tiny. (Perhaps from s. न्यून). S̱. P. نو nau (Sans. नव) adj. 1. New, young, fresh, raw, newly. نو آباد nau-ābād, Newly settled, peopled, colonized, or cultivated. نو آموز nau-āmoz, One who learns any thing new, a novice, unexperienced. نو بالا nava-bālā, s. f. A girl just grown up to the age of puberty. نو باوه nau-bāwa, A young tree. نوباٴي nau-bāʼī, A new custom. نو بڙهيا nau-baṛhiyā, An upstart. نوپر nau-par, Newly-fledged, begin- ning to fly. نو جوان nau-jawān, A lad, a youth, young man, fresh and young, in the prime of life, in the bloom of youth. نو جواني nau-ja- wān-ī, Prime of life, bloom or flower of youth. نو جوبنا nau-joban-ā or nava-joban-ā, Just grown up to puberty (a girl). نو چنده nau-chand-a, or نو چندي nau-chand-ī, adj. Relating to the new moon, of the full moon. نو خاسته nau-ḵẖāsta, or نو خيز nau-ḵẖez, Newly risen, newly sprung up, a youth. نو خيزي nau-ḵẖez-ī, s. f.
