نٿنا naṭnā H v. a. To deny.

ناحيه nāḥiya A (from نحو Heb. ) s. m. Territory,

نجس najis A adj. Dirty, impure, filthy, nasty. نجس العين najisu-l-aﻌin, Impure by nature. ¶ najas, Dirtiness, filth, dung.

نانک nānak H n. prop. Name of a faḳīr, founder of the sect of Sikhs. نانک پنتهي يا شاهي يا نانک متا nānak-panthī, or shāhī, or nānak- matā, s. m. A Sikh, or follower of Nānak.

نما namā A (vulg. numā) s. f. Increase, in- creasing.

ناظره nāz̤ira A (part. act. fem. of نظر) s. m. 1. The eye, sight, vision. 2. Reading, studying. ناظره خواني nāz̤ira-ḵẖẉān-ī, Reading (in opposi- tion to repeating by heart).
