نسيه nisya A or nasya (from نسي Heb. ) s. m. A thing forgotten, of no regard or account. ¶ nasia (from نسأ) s. m. Delay allowed for pay- ment of money, credit.

ناگري nāgarī S̱. adj. The most common Hindī character of writing; called, also, Deva-nāgarī.

نواح nawāḥ A (contract. for نواحي plur. of ناحيه from نحو) s. f. Environs, district, tract, coast, shore. ¶ nuwāḥ (from نوح) s. m. Act of la- menting, bewailing, complaining.

نرگن nir-guṇ S (निर् prep. and गुण Quality, skill, a string) adj. 1. Without passions or human qualities (an epithet of God). 2. With- out estimable qualities, worthless, unskilful. 3. Unstrung (as, a necklace).

نامي nām-ī P adj. Illustrious, celebrated, famous. نامي هونا nām-ī honā, To be celebrated. ¶ nām-e, or nām-ī, adv. By name.

نلي nal-ī नल S̱. s. f. 1. A tube, pipe, spout. 2. The windpipe, ureter, &c. 3. A gun-barrel. 4. Morbus plerumque à manustupratione ortus, in quo membrum virile exile fit nec erigi potest. 5. The bone of the leg, the tibia. 6. A weaverʼs shuttle, or the little tube within the shuttle on which the woof is wound.

نيرنگي nairang-ī P s. f. Magick, sorcery.

ندا nidā A s. f. Sound, voice, calling, call to prayer, proclamation, vocative.
