نيارا nyārā निरालय S̱. 1. adj. Apart, aloof, separate, distinct, different, extraordinary, un- common. 2. s. m. The scoria left after refining gold, silver, or other metals, from which a minute portion of those metals is obtainable. نياري nyāre, adv. Apart.

نرهس nir-has S̱. (from निर् prep. and हास्य Laughter) adj. Dull, grave.

نواب nuwwāb A s. plur. (of نايب from نوب Heb. and Aram. ) Vicegerents, lieutenants, de- puties, governours. ¶ nawwāb (adj. superl.) A nabob, a governour of a town or district.

نيوارنا newārnā निवारण S̱. v. a. To shut out, to exclude.

نواري niwārī निवारिका S̱. s. f. Name of a flower, a sort of jasmine. See نواڙي niwāṛī.

نبهنا nibhnā निर्वहण S̱. v. n. To serve, suc- ceed, pass, live, last, be accomplished or per- fected or performed.
