A girl just grown up to the age of puberty. نو باوه nau-bāwa, A young tree. نوباٴي nau-bāʼī, A new custom. نو بڙهيا nau-baṛhiyā, An upstart. نوپر nau-par, Newly-fledged, begin- ning to fly. نو جوان nau-jawān, A lad, a youth, young man, fresh and young, in the prime of life, in the bloom of youth. نو جواني nau-ja- wān-ī, Prime of life, bloom or flower of youth. نو جوبنا nau-joban-ā or nava-joban-ā, Just grown up to puberty (a girl). نو چنده nau-chand-a, or نو چندي nau-chand-ī, adj. Relating to the new moon, of the full moon. نو خاسته nau-ḵẖāsta, or نو خيز nau-ḵẖez, Newly risen, newly sprung up, a youth. نو خيزي nau-ḵẖez-ī, s. f.

نيبو nībū S̱. (निम्बु or निम्बूक) s. Name of a tree, a lime. (Citrus medica). See ليمو līmū.

نوگري naugarī S̱. s. f. An ornament for females worn on the wrist.

نکهتري nakhatrī S̱. (from नक्षत्र A star) adj. For- tunate, born under a lucky planet.

نافع nāfiﻌ A (part. act. of نفع) adj. Salutary, profitable, advantageous, useful.

نياريا nyāriyā S̱. 1. s. m. One who extracts metals from their scoria. 2. adj. Prudent, cautious, not easily imposed on.

نسنديه nissandeh S or ni-sandeh (निः for निर् prep. and संदेह Doubt) adj. Free from doubt, undoubted. adv. Undoubtedly.
