ننانوي ninānawe नवनवति S̱. adj. Ninety nine. ننانوي کي پهير مين پڙنا ninānawe ke pher meṅ paṛnā, 1. To be entirely absorbed in the acquisition of wealth. 2. To be involved in difficulties.

نکال nikāl निकाल S̱. s. m. Contrivance, out- let, issue, vent, discharge, expulsion, projection. نکال ڐالنا nikāl ḍālnā, To deduct, to strike out.

نيايش niyāʼịsh P s. f. Benediction, praise.

نريکهنا nirekhnā निरीक्षण S̱. v. a. To behold, to spy, to look out.

نکو niko P or nikū, adj. Good, beautiful. نکورو niko-rū or نکوروي niko-rūe, Good or beautiful in the countenance. نکونامي niko-nām-ī, s. f. Good name, reputation. (Plur. نکويان).

نکهورنا nikhornā S̱. or nikhoṛnā (निर् prep. and r. खुर Cut, scratch) v. a. To peel, skin, de- corticate, clean.

نوح nūḥ Heb. n. prop. Noah. (Erroneously stated by Musalmān authors to be so called from his lamentations on account of the obsti- nacy of mankind who rejected his admonitions; but, really from Heb. To rest, to be com- forted or freed from pain. Gen. V. 29.).

نمين nam-īṅ P adj. Moist.

نتهني nath-nī नाथ S̱. s. f. 1. A small ring worn in the nose. 2. A ring inserted in the hilt of a sword.
