نکچهکني nak-chhiknī छिक्कनी S̱. s. f. Name of a sternutatory plant.

نيچه nai-cha P (dimin. of ني nai) s. m. A ḥuḳḳa- snake. نيچه بند naicha-band, A person who makes ḥuḳḳa-snakes. نيچه بندي naicha-band-ī, The trade of a naicha-band.

نوروز nau roz P s. m. New yearʼs day according to the Persian calendar; being that on which the sun enters Aries. This is called عامه or general: and, the sixth of the same month is called خاصه or particular. Both are celebrated by feasts, the liberation of prisoners, &c.
