اندر andar P (Sans. अन्तर्) prep. Within, in the inside, inward. S. اندر इंद्र (r. इद Have supreme power) indra, s. m. The regent of the visible heavens and of the inferiour divinities.

ابٿ ubaṭ S̱. or ubṭi, (उद्वर्त्तन) s. m. See اپٿن upṭan.

آخرت āḵẖirat A s. f. Futurity, a future state, the world to come. A. P. آخرش āḵẖirash, adv. At the end of it, at last, finally, after all. A. P. آخرشب āḵẖir-i-shab, s. The end of the night, before dawn.

ابوجہل abū jahl A (father of ignorance) n. prop. An uncle of Muhammad.

اد उद् ud S prep. See ات उत् ut.

ارداس ardās H s. f. Representation, offering to a deity. (Perhaps a corruption of عرضداشت).

ايل īyal A or aiyal, or uyyal (Heb. ) s. m. A stag, a mountain goat.

ارات आराति ārāti S s. m. Enemy.

اينٿايا īnṭāyā H s. m. A kind of dove. S̱. P. اينٿگاري īnṭ-gārī, s. f. Brick-work.

استحاضه istiḥaẓa A (from حیض) s. m. Immode- rate flux of the menses.
