نقال naḳḳāl A (adj. superl. of نقل) s. m. A mimick, an actor, a player.

نعره naﻌra A s. m. Clamour, crying, noise, shout.

نرنکال nirankāl S̱. (for निराकार i. e. निर् prep. and अंतर Form) adj. Without form (the deity), incorporeal.

نہالي nihāl-ī P s. f. 1. A young plant. 2. A kind of quilt, small carpet, a cushion.

نگـﮩبان nigah-bān P s. m. A guard, a watch, watch- man, a protector, keeper.

نکاح nikāḥ A s. m. Matrimony, marriage. (It is the most honourable kind of marriage, though in Bengal the term be only applicable to a se- condary kind). A. P. نکاحي nikāḥ-ī, adj. Married (woman).

Good intention. نيک باز nek-bāz, Just, virtuous, of good actions. نيکبخت nek-baḵẖt, Fortunate (commonly meaning, of good dispositions). نيکبختي nek-baḵẖt-ī, s. f. Virtue, good fortune. نيک پاک nek-pāk, Virtuous. نيک تدبير nek-tadbīr, Good in counsel or management. نيک تن nek-tan, Sleek-skinned
