Ringing or throbbing of the forehead) implies a presenti- ment of the conclusion, from certain marks ob- served in the commencement of an affair: and, it is generally understood to indicate an unfor- tunate termination. ماتها رگڙنا māthā ragaṛnā (lit. To rub the forehead, viz. on the ground) To implore humbly (of the Deity, a saint or a king). ماتهي پر چڙهنا māthe par chaṛhnā, v. a. To tyrannise, to oppress.
