مفاجات mufājāt A (prop. mufājaʼat, inf. III. of فجأ) s. f. Sudden death.

مڙه muṛh S̱. s. m. See مونڐ mūnḍ.

مرکونڐي murkūṅḍī H or muṛkūṅḍī (dakh. i. q. اوندهي منڐي) Head downwards, head reversed(?). مرکونڐي مارنا murkūṅḍī mārnā, v. (dakh.) To take to the bed, to be confined to bed or to be bedrid.

مستقيم mustaḳīm A (part. act. X. of قوم Heb. and Aram. ) adj. Right, straight, standing erect, erect, faithful, loyal, resolute, rightly constituted.

ماهي māhī P s. f. A fish; the fish on which the earth is supposed to rest. ماهي توه māhī-tawa, s. m. A fryingpan. ماهي خوار māhī-ḵẖẉār, s. m. A fisherman. 2. An otter. (Lutra lutreola: Shaw). ماهي مراتب māhī-marātib, s. m. Certain honours, of which the privilege is especially conferred on princes and great nobles. They are denoted by the figure of a fish, with other insignia (two balls), carried as ensigns upon elephants.
