معطوف maﻌt̤ūf A (part. pass. of عطف) adj. In- clined, turned; conjoined (in grammar).

مرفا marfā P. s. m. A kind of drum (beat at both ends), or like a ḍhol, covered at both ends with leather, but played on at one end only with a stick: see Qanoon-e-islam.

مقفا muḳaffā A (for مقفيٰ part. pass. II. of قفو) adj. 1. Measured (prose). 2. (subst.) An oration rhythmically composed.

مسخ masḵẖ A s. m. Changing, metamorphosing from a superiour to an inferiour shape. مسخ هونا masḵẖ honā, To be changed, to be me- tamorphosed into an inferiour shape (as, from man to beast).
