منتر मंत्र mantar S or mantra, s. m. 1. A charm, philter, spell, incantation. 2. Secret consulta- tion, private advice. منترجنتر mantar-jantar (मंत्रयंत्र) Incantation, exorcism.

ملاقات mulāḳāt A (inf. III. of لقي) s. f. Inter- view, meeting, conversation, encountering. ملاقات کرني mulāḳāt karnī, To meet, encounter, visit.

مرقع muraḳḳaﻌ A (part. pass. II. of رقع) adj. Clothed in rags, patched, mended; (subst.) or

مٿهاٴي miṭhā-ī S̱. s. f. 1. (मिष्ठान्न) A sweet- meat. 2. Sweetness. S̱. P. مٿهاٴي گر miṭhāʼī-gar, s. m. A maker of sweet- meats, confectioner.

مندرا mundrā मुद्रा S̱. s. m. A ring, a collar. See مندري mundrī.

محلي maḥall-ī A. adj. Belonging to the seraglio (a servant, &c.), an eunuch.

مسي mis-ī H or missī, 1. s. f. A powder (made of vitriol, &c.) with which the teeth are tinged of a black colour. مسي دان misī-dān, A box of gold, silver or other metal for holding misī. 2. (from Sans. माष) adj. f. Made of vetches.

ميجو mījū H s. m. Lentil.

مضر muẓirr A (part. act. IV. of ضرر Heb. ) adj. Pernicious, hurtful, baleful, injurious, mis- chievous, noisome, noxious.
