معاملت muʼāﻌmalat A s. f. (inf. III. of عمل Heb. and Aram. ) Treaty, affair, business, negotiation, trans- action, behaviour, procedure, concern, cause or suit in law. (Plur. معاملات muʼāﻌmalāt). معامله رس muʼāﻌmala-ras, adj. Comprehending the af- fair, the transaction or the suit. معامله رسي muʼāﻌmala-ras-ī, s. f. The comprehension of the affair or suit, &c. معامله کرنا muʼāﻌmala karnā, To deal with, treat with, negotiate.

مقصد maḳṣad A (from قصد) s. m. Intention, de- sign, meaning, purpose, purport, object, aim, scope, desire, wish. (Plur. مقاصد).

متعلم mutaʼaﻌllam A (part. pass. V. from علم) 1. adj. Being taught, learning. 2. (subst.) A scholar, disciple. ¶ mutaʼaﻌllim (part. act.) Teaching.

مرصع muraṣṣaﻌ A (part. pass. II. of رصع) adj. Covered with gold, set with jewels; (subst.) Cloth or any texture so adorned.
