ادهکاري अधिकारी adhikār-ī S adj. Posses- sing a right or title to. s. m. A proprietor, one invested with power and authority.

الایچا ilāyachā H s. A kind of silk cloth.

اعراب iﻌrāb A (inf. iv. of عرب) s. m. The no- tation of the vowel points, the vowel or diacri- tical points.

ايکٿها ek-ṭhā S (see اکٿها ikaṭṭhā) adj. Together, collected. s. m. A small boat rowed by one oar. ايکٿهاکرنا ekṭhā karnā, To gather, to col- lect, to convene. S. P. ايکدم ek-dam, One moment, one breath.

الڙبلڙ alaṛbalaṛ H s. f. Trifling talk or employ- ment.

احیانا aḥyānaṉ A adv. Sometimes, now and then, from time to time; in the event, in case, should.

ايمه aima A. s. m. (for aʼịmma, plur. of امام but used to denote) Land given as a reward or fa- vour by the king at a very low rent, a fief. (When no rent is paid, the land is called لااخراج lā ḵẖirāj). Charity lands. ايمه دار aima-dār, One who holds land in ايمه aima, a feoffee.

آرادهنا ārādhnā S̱. or arādhnā (आराधन) v. a. 1. To worship, to adore. 2. To accomplish.

اده अधि adhi S prep. Over, above, upon. It implies superiority (in place, quality, or quan- tity) and is the reverse of अप apa.
