موزون mauzūn A (part. pass. of وزن Heb. ) adj. Weighed, well adjusted, symmetrical, well mea- sured or of just quantity (verse).

متسلط mutasallit̤ A (part. act. V. of سلط Heb. and Aram. ) adj. Despotick (command), abso- lute (dominion).

منقب minḳab A (noun of instrum. of نقب Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. An instrument with which they tap for the dropsy, a trocar.

مکاشفه mukāshafa A (inf. III. of کشف Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. Displaying, disclosure.

متفکر mutafakkir A (part. act. V. from فکر) adj. Contemplative, considering, thinking, reflecting, serious, thoughtful, concerned, pensive, grave.

مجـﮩول majʼhūl A (part. pass. of جـﮩل) 1. Un- known, little known. 2. (subst.) Passive voice. 3. Applied to the letters و and ي when the former has the sound of o in bone, and the lat- ter that of a in name. 4. (In Hind.) Indolent, lazy, idle. مجـﮩول النسب majʼhūlu-n-nasab, adj. Unknown of lineage. مجـﮩول مطلق majʼhūl- i-mut̤laḳ, Very indolent or useless.

منکهہ manukh S̱. (मानुष or मनुष्य) s. m. A man, man, mankind. H. S. منکيان کا هار mankiyāṅ kā hār (dakh.) A necklace of pearls, large gold beads, corals, garnets, &c. (Qanoon-e-islam). S̱. H. منگا بهيجنا mangā bhejnā, To send for.

مخدوم maḵẖdūm A m. part. pass. (of خدم) Served; hence (sub- stantively) Lord, master, mistress.

ملہي mulhī A (part. act. IV. of لہو) s. m. A jester, mimick, buffoon.

منتہيٰ muntahạ̄ A (part. pass. VIII. of نہي) s. m. The end, conclusion, boundary, extremity. ¶ muntahī (part. act.) adj. Learned (i. e. one who has finished his studies).
