مونڐنا mūnḍnā S̱. (causal of منڐنا or मुंडन) v. a. 1. To shave. 2. To instruct, convert or make a disciple of. 3. To wheedle out of any thing. الٿي استري سي مونڐنا ulṭe usture se mūnḍnā, To cheat one.

مونکي mūṅkī S̱. s. f. A blow with the fist. See مکي mukkī and موکي mūkī.

مال māl A s. m. 1. Property, wealth, merchan- dise, goods, effects. 2. A prize (in a lottery, &c.). مال خاوند māl-ḵẖāwind, A proprietor. مالدار māl-dār, adj. Wealthy, rich. مالداري māl-dār-ī, s. f. Wealthiness. مال زاده māl-zāda, A son of a whore, a pimp or pander. مال زادي māl-zādī, s. f. A bawd, a whore. مالضامن māl-ẓāmin, A security (for property, or money, in opposition to حاضرضامن ḥāẓir-ẓāmin). مال مردم خور māl-i-mardum-ḵẖor, A consumer of the property of others; one who borrows and never pays. مال مست māl-mast, adj. Purse- proud.

مغزي mag̠ẖzī P s. f. Edging, border, hem.

مـﮩاکوڙه mahā-koṛh S̱. s. m. A species of leprosy (great leprosy) perhaps elephantiasis.

معانقه muʼāﻌnaḳa A (inf. III. of عنق Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. Throwing the arms round anotherʼs neck, embracing.

متوجه mutawajjih A (part. act. V. of وجه) adj. 1. Turning or having the regard (towards), proceeding (towards), bound to. 2. Attentive, favouring, countenancing, propitious, intent on. متوجه هونا mutawajjih honā, To turn the face (towards), to attend (to), to look (towards), to regard, to proceed, to be bound (towards), to be intent (on).

مترصد mutaraṣṣid A part. act. (V. of رصد Heb. ) 1. Expecting, watching, exploring. 2. Contemplating, gazing at.

ماکيان mākiyān P s. f. A fowl, a hen.
