منتہيٰ muntahạ̄ A (part. pass. VIII. of نہي) s. m. The end, conclusion, boundary, extremity. ¶ muntahī (part. act.) adj. Learned (i. e. one who has finished his studies).

مـﮩ muh S̱. s. m. See منـﮩ muṅh. S. مـﮩا महा (from महत्) mahā, adj. Great, il- lustrious; very, extremely. مـﮩا براهمن يا پاتر mahā-brāhmaṇ, or -pātr, A Brāhmaṇ who of- ficiates at funerals, and is first fed after the mourning for a dead person. مـﮩا بلي mahā- bal-ī, Very powerful. مـﮩا پاپ mahā pāp, Atrocity, great sin. مـﮩا پاپي mahā-pāp-ī, adj. مٿهيا muṭhiyā मुष्टिका S̱. s. m. A handful.

محاصره muḥāṣara A (inf. III. of حصر Heb. ) s. m. Surrounding, besieging, investing, block- ading, sitting down before a fort, siege, blockade, &c. محاصره کرنا muḥāṣara karnā, To besiege, invest, beset, blockade, compass, surround.
