اوٿنا auṭnā H 1. v. a. To boil (as milk), to eva- porate over a fire. 2. v. n. To consume with rage or vexation.

اسیونا usevnā S̱. (उत् and r. स्त्रिव Dry) v. a. To throw out the water from boiled rice.

اود ūd S̱. (उद्र from r. उंद Make wet) s. m. An otter. See اودبلاو.

افعيٰ afʼāﻌ A (vulg. afīﻌ) s. m. A serpent, basilisk, asp, viper.

اتهک athak S̱. (अ and स्थ्ग्न Weariness) adj. Unwearied, untired, insensible of fatigue.

ابشیک abishek S̱. (अभिषेक from अभि and r. सिच Sprinkle) s. m. Bathing, baptizing, sprinkling with the water of the Ganges, initiation, royal unction; purification by means of sprinkling water and pronouncing certain prayers.

انگورا angorā S̱. (अंग The body, and क्रूर Piti- less) s. m. A midge, a gnat.

آب چشي āb-chashī P s. f. The giving drink to a child for the first time (generally when about six months old) preparatory to weaning.

اپرونچا upraunchā S̱. s. m. A towel or cloth for wiping the body: adj. Superficial.

امتناع imtināﻌ A (inf. viii. of منع) s. m. Pro- hibition, restraint.
