لڙکا luṛkā H s. m. A Hindū ornament worn in the ears.

لابهہ लाभ lābh S s. m. Profit, produce, acquisi- tion. لابهہ کرنا lābh karnā, To attain.

لکهـ لکهانا lakhlakhānā H v. n. To gasp, or pant with heat or thirst (as, birds).

لپ لپ lup-lup H s. m. Lapping (as, of a dog drinking). ¶ lap-lap, adj. Nimble, quick. لپ لپ کهانا lap-lap khānā, To eat quickly. S̱. لپنا lipnā (r. लिप Plaster, besmear) v. n. To be plastered, smeared or washed over.
