لڙکا laṛkā S̱. (लडक r. लड Sport, play) s. m. A boy, child, infant, babe. لڙکا بالا laṛkā-bālā, s. m. Child. لڙکا لڙکي laṛkā laṛkī, s. Boys and girls, children.

لکهمن lakhman लक्ष्मण S̱. n. prop. The half- brother of Rāmachandra, q. v.

لٿهر laṭṭhar H adj. Slack, remiss. S̱. H. لٿهيانا laṭhiyānā (from Sans. यष्टि see لٿهـ) v. a. To belabour, cudgel, cane.

لوهو lohū लोहित S̱. s. m. Blood. لوهو بيٿهنا lohū baiṭhnā, To pass blood by stool. لوهو پهٿنا lohū phaṭnā, To have leprosy. لوهو ڐالنا lohū ḍālnā, To spit blood. لوهو لـﮩان lohū-luhān, adj. Covered with blood, bloody.

لـﮩبيرا lahberā H s. m. Name of a plant.

لاه lāh H s. m. A kind of cloth resembling gauze.

لنگراٴي langrāʼī P. s. f. Worthlessness.

لطافت lat̤āfat A s. f. Fineness, thinness, ele- gance, neatness, delicateness, deliciousness, sub- tilty, exquisiteness, pleasantness, facetiousness, wit.

لوح lauḥ A (Heb. ) s. f. A plank, a table, a board (especially, on which any thing is written), a tablet. لوح محفوظ lauḥ-i-maḥfūz̤, The guarded table on which the destinies of mankind are written (according to the Muhammadans). لوح وقلم lauḥ-o-ḳalam, s. f. The tablet and pen on, and with, which the decrees of the deity are written.

لٿس luṭas S̱. (r. लुट Plunder) s. f. Plundering, ruin, devastation.
