لچهمي लक्ष्मी lachh̤mī S (or laksh̤mī) s. f. 1. The wife of Vish̤ṇu, and goddess of wealth and prosperity. (She is also called Padmā, Ka- malā and Srī, and is supposed to be the Ceres of the Latins). 2. Prosperity, wealth. 3. Beauty, splendour.

لجامان लज्जामान् lajjā-mān S adj. Ashamed, abashed.

لاپهنا lāphnā H v. n. To jump.

لچکنا lachaknā H v. n. To spring, to bend.

لـﮩسن lahsan लशुन S̱. s. m. 1. Garlick. (Al- lium sativum). 2. A freckle.

لٿاٴي laṭāʼī H s. f. A kind of roller on which the string of a kite is wound.

لاڙ lāṛ S̱. (r. लड Sport) s. m. Lovingness, coaxing, caress, play, sport, playfulness of a child. لاڙلڙانا lāṛ laṛānā, To fondle (a child).

لبار labār H s. m. A liar, a talker.
