لايق lāʼịḳ A m. (part. act. of ليق) adj. Worthy, deserving, adapted, proper, suitable, fit, apposite, becoming, expedient, able, capable, qualified. لايق هونا lāʼịḳ honā, To de- serve, to merit.

لطافت lat̤āfat A s. f. Fineness, thinness, ele- gance, neatness, delicateness, deliciousness, sub- tilty, exquisiteness, pleasantness, facetiousness, wit.
