کاو kāw P part. act. (from کاويدن) in compos. Digging, excavating, examining, investigating, meditating on. H.S̱. کاوا دينا kāwā denā, v. a. 1. To ring or lounge (a horse, &c.). 2. To trick, to sham.

کپي kapī S̱. (Sans. कपि) s. m. A monkey. ¶ kuppī (Sans. कुतुप) s. f. A vial, a skin, a leathern bottle.

کم نيتي kamnait-ī P. (from کمان) s. f. Archery.

کومانچه kūmānchh H s. m. A kind of bread.

کهولڙ kholaṛ S̱. (कोटर) s. m. A hollow (as, of a tree, &c.).

کنيت kunyat A (from کنا Heb. ) s. f. A name taken from the father or mother of the person signified, a patronymick appellation. S̱. H. کنيٿي kaneṭī (from کان Ear, and اينٿهنا To twist) s. f. Pulling the ears.

کهلي khalī S̱. (खटिका or खल) s. f. The dregs of mustard seed, &c. after the oil is pressed out, oil-cakes.

گمنا gamnā गमन S̱. v. n. (dakh.) To pass (time).
