کلبه kulba P s. m. A hut, house, closet, cell, cottage. کلبهٴ احزان kulba-e-aḥzān, An afflicted or distressed family, house of affliction or grief.

ککڙي kakṛī कर्क्कटी S̱. s. f. A kind of cu- cumber. (Cucumis utilissimus: Roxb.) ¶ kukṛī, (कुक्कुटी) s. f. A hen.

کہني kuhnī S̱. s. f. The elbow. See کوهني.

گهود ghaud H s. f. A bunch or cluster of grapes, dates or plantains.

کہرانا kahrānā H (prop. کراهنا) v. n. To groan (as a sick person).

گهاٿيا ghāṭ-iyā S̱. s. m. A Brāhmaṇ who sits in a ghāṭ of the Ganges to keep the clothes, &c. of those that resort to make ablution.

کٿاو kaṭāʼo S̱. 1. s. m. A kind of flowering on cloths. 2. (from کاٿنا) adj. Cutting.

کروندا karondā करमर्द्दक S̱. s. m. Name of a fruit, the corinda. (Carissa carandas).

کوڙا koṛā H s. m. A whip, lash. کوڙا کرنا koṛā karnā, 1. To whip. 2. To reduce to obedience. 3. To put a horse to his speed by whipping. کوڙا مارنا koṛā mārnā, To lash. ¶ kauṛā, s. m. A shell. ¶ kūṛā, Sweepings, dirt, rubbish.

کلمه kalma A or properly kalima, s. m. 1. A word, speech, saying. 2. Part of speech. 3. The Muhammadan confession of faith. کلمة الحق kalimatu-l-ḥaḳḳ, The word of God. کلمه پڙهنا kalma paṛhnā, To make the Muhammadan confession of faith. کلمي کي انگلي kalme kī unglī, s. f. The forefinger. (Arab. plur. کلمات).
