کشت kisht P s. f. m. A sown field. کشت زار kisht-zār, s. A sown field. کشت و کار kisht-o-kār, s. Tilling and sowing.

کہان kahāṅ H adv. Where? کہان تک kahāṅ tak, or کہان تلک kahāṅ talak, How far? how long? to what degree? کہان سي kahāṅ se, Whence? کہان کا کہان kahāṅ kā kahāṅ, To what degree! extremely, immensely.

کلغي kalg̠ẖī T. s. f. An ornament on the turband, an aigrette, a plume.

گهگهيانا ghighiyānā H v. n. To falter, be unable to speak (from fear, joy, &c.), appear very humble, coax, wheedle, fawn, beseech, implore. H. S̱. گهگهي بنده جانا ghighī bandh jānā, To falter, to be unable to speak (from shame or fear, &c.).

کرکرا karkarā कर्कर S̱. s. m. 1. Bad coin. 2. Name of a bird. (Numidian crane).

کريال kuryāl H s. f. 1. The state of a bird sitting at ease and in security, trimming its wings with its beak; (hence) 2. Ease, security, hope, confidence of success. کريال مين غليلا لگنا kuryāl meṅ g̠ẖulelā lagnā, To be disappointed or fall into misfortune, in the moment of security, or when sure of success. Sajjād says:-- بيٿهہ اگرخوشي سي آکر چمن مين بلبل کريال مين غليلا ايسا لگي که اڙجاي Baiṭhe agar ḵẖụshī se ākar chaman meṅ bulbul; kuryāl meṅ g̠ẖulelā aisā lage ki uṛ jāʼe.
