کسبت kisbat A. (perhaps, for کسوت kiswat, Dress, garb: or کسبت Gain, way of gaining) s. f. 1. The case (or bag) barbers, surgeons, &c. keep their tools in. 2. A piece of leather worn by a bihishtī or waterman on his left hip, on which he rests the bag containing water. کسبت نامه kisbat-nāma, s. m. A book containing the histories of barbers, surgeons, &c. and directions for their practice. The bihishtīs also have such a book.
