کهندڙي khindṛī H s. f. A pallet, a beggarʼs bedding.

گڙبڙي gaṛbaṛī H s. (dakh.) See گڙبڙاهٿ gaṛba- ṛāhaṭ.

کوٿهڙي koṭhṛī S̱. s. f. (dakh.) See کوٿهري koṭhrī.

کهٿکهٿانا khaṭkhaṭānā H v. n. To knock, to tap, to pat, to rap.

گوندهنا gūndhnā H v. a. 1. To knead. 2. To plait, to braid, to plat, to weave.

کلوار kalwār S̱. s. m. A distiller, a vender of spi- rituous liquors. See کلار kalār.

کال काल kāl S s. m. 1. Death. 2. (met.) A snake. 3. Time, season, age. کال بتانا يا کاٿنا يا گنوانا kāl-bitānā, or -kāṭnā, or gaṅwānā, To waste oneʼs time, to spend time. کال بس هونا kāl-bas honā, To be in the hands of death, to be seized by fate. 4. Dearth, famine. کال پڙنا kāl paṛnā, The coming on of a famine, to hap- pen a famine. 5. Angel of death. 6. Cala- mity. 7. (in Braj for कल्य) To-morrow.

کرايه kirāya A. s. m. Hire, fare, rent. کرايه چلانا kirāya chalānā, To let (any thing the use of which is in moving, as a horse, cart, &c.). کرايه دار kirāya-dār, A tenant, renter, hirer. کرايه کرنا kirāya karnā or کراٴي کرنا kirāʼe karnā, To let, to hire. کرايه لينا kirāya lenā, To hire, to rent.
