کنونڐ kanaunḍ H s. m. Diffidence, bashfulness.

کهبنا khubnā H v. a. 1. To affect, to pene- trate, to stick into. 2. To adorn.

کپا kuppā S̱. (Sans. कुतू) s. m. A large leathern vessel for holding oil, ghī, &c. کپا لڙهنا kuppā luṛhnā, The decease of a king, &c. کپا هونا kuppā honā, To become very fat.

کنارا kinārā P. (or prop. kanāra) s. m. Side, margin, shore, strand, bank (of a river, &c.), beach, border, coast, part, limit, boundary, edge. کنارا پکڙنا kinārā pakaṛ- nā, To retire. کنارا کرنا kinārā karnā, v. a. To abstain, to refrain, to keep aloof, retire or with- draw (from), to lay aside. کناره کش kināra- kash, Withdrawing. کناري kināre or کناري پر kināre par, Aside, ashore. کناري چڙهنا kināre chaṛhnā, v. n. To run ashore, to strand. کناري هوجانا kināre ho-jānā, To retire, to withdraw.

کويل koyal कोकिल S̱. s. f. 1. Name of a bird. (Cuculus). 2. A flower. (Clitoria ternatea).

کهينکڙا kheṅkṛā S̱. s. m. (dakh.) A crab: see کيکڙا kekṛā.

کڙهوا kaṛhūʼā H (from کڙهنا) s. m. A loan, a debt: a premium on a loan: a deduction from the sum lent.

گلهتي gulhattī H s. f. Rice gruel, or rice and water boiled together and seasoned with salt.

کوت kūt S̱. (Sans. कोटि) s. m. The base of a right-angled triangle.
