کفش kafsh P s. f. A shoe, a slipper (high-heeled and shod with iron). کفش دوز kafsh-doz, or کفش گر kafsh-gar, A shoemaker.

کوکها kokhā S̱. (कुक्षि) s. f. The womb, the abdomen, hypochondrium. کوکهہ بنده kokh-bandh, adj. Barren.

گوز goz P s. m. f. A fart. ¶ gauz or gūz, A wal- nut. ¶ gawaz, contract. of گوزن gawazn, q. v.

گهونگرو ghūngrū S̱. (see گهنگهرو) s. m. 1. Name of an ornament worn round the ankles, with bells fastened to it. 2. A bell.

گنڐا ganḍā S̱. s. m. 1. (for गंड) A ring, a circle, a kind of horse-collar. 2. A knotted string tied round the neck of a child, &c. as a preservative against evil. 3. (for गंडक) Denotes the num- ber four.

کاولي kāwalī H s. (dakh. from قراول) Patroling, guarding: see گشت gasht. H.P. کاول گر kāwal-gar, s. m. (dakh.) Watch, pa- trole, watchman.

کپوت kapūt S̱. (Sans. कुपुत्र) s. m. A bad or degenerate son.

گجهن gajhin गहन S̱. adj. Thick (a forest, &c.).

گاجا باجا gājā bājā S̱. s. m. The sound or clan- gour of various musical instruments. See باجا bājā (which latter word often precedes).

کساد kasād A (from کسد) s. Want of currency, the not being in demand, flat sale or bad mar- ket, penury, indigence.
