گٿهجوڙا gaṭh-joṛā S̱. s. Joining the knot. See گٿهہ بندهن gaṭh-bandhan.

کوٴو koʼū S̱. (in Braj) Any, any one, some, some- body. See s̱. کوٴي koʼī.

کهسکهسا khaskhasā H (from کهسکهسانا) s. m. Grinding the teeth.

گدا गदा gadā S s. f. A club, a mace. گدادهر gadā-dhar (mace-holding) A name of Kr̤ish̤ṇa. (Kr̤ish̤ṇa or Vish̤ṇu is represented holding a mace in one of his hands). گداجده gadā-judh (गदायुद्ध) s. Fighting with club or mace.

گانجا gānjā S̱. s. m. See گانجها gānjhā.

گندا gand-ā S̱. adj. Stinking, filthy.

گيا गया gayā S Name of a city in Bihār, being a celebrated tīrth or place of pilgrimage. S̱. گيا 1. gaiyā (गौः) s. f. A cow. 2. gayā, past part. or tense (of جانا) Gone, went. گيا گذريا gayā-guẕryā, adj. (dakh.) Worthless, use- less; see ناکاره nā-kār-a.

کهونچي khonchī H s. f. 1. Any thing stuffed into another, as grass into thatch. 2. Trifling pur- chases. 3. Part of grain which is to be parched taken as pay by the person who parches it. 4. Something paid by those who draw water at a well to the bihishtī, who attends there with his bucket, for the use of it.

کهينچنا khaiṅchnā, khīṅchnā H or kheṅchnā (caus- al of کهچنا) v. a. To pull, draw, tighten, strip off, flay, delineate, paint, endure, suffer. کهينچ لينا khaiṅch lenā, To pull or draw out, extract, extort.
