کيميا kīmiyā G (Gr. xhmia) s. m. (dakh. s. f.) Alchymy, chymistry. کيميا کرنا kīmiyā-karnā, v. a. (figuratively) To do any thing very well, to work miracles. کيميا گر kīmiyā-gar, s. m. A chymist, an alchymist. کيميا گري kīmiyā-gar-ī, s. f. Alchymy, chymistry.

کهکهورنا khakhornā H v. a. To scoop, to scrape.

کوڙا koṛā H s. m. A whip, lash. کوڙا کرنا koṛā karnā, 1. To whip. 2. To reduce to obedience. 3. To put a horse to his speed by whipping. کوڙا مارنا koṛā mārnā, To lash. ¶ kauṛā, s. m. A shell. ¶ kūṛā, Sweepings, dirt, rubbish.

گجر gajar H s. m. The chimes rung at the ex- piration of a watch or pahar of the day or night; but sometimes restricted to those at the close of the fourth; the word pahar being more commonly used for the middle chimes. (Gilch.).
