گڙبڙ gaṛbaṛ H adv. See گڐبڐ gaḍbaḍ. گڙبڙ هونا gaṛbaṛ honā (dakh.) To be confused or alarmed.

کنده kandh S̱. (स्कन्ध) s. m. The shoulder. کنده جاهڙنا kunda jhāṛnā, To prepare to fly (a bird).

کسر kasr A s. f. 1. Breaking, breach, loss, afflic- tion, a fraction (in arithmetick). 2. Rout, put- ting to flight. 3. The vowel (ِ) sounded like the Ital. short i, or the English i in bill, fin. (Plur. کسرات). کسر و زياد kasr-o-ziyād, or کسري زياد kasr-e ziyād, More or less. (But, these seem to be corruptions of کثر).

گلوگا gulūgā U s. m. A monkeyʼs pouch.

کهوٿاٴي khoṭā-ī H s. f. Perfidy, falseness, faultiness, defectiveness.

کربلا karbalā A Name of the place in عراق iﻌrāḳ, where Ḥusain son of Aﻌlī was killed and buried; hence, the word is sometimes applied in India to the shrines or burying places of the Muhammadans.

گهرني ghirnī S̱. (from घूर्ण) s. f. 1. A pulley. 2. An instrument for twisting ropes. 3. A kind of pigeon, the tumbler. ¶ ghirnī khānā, To go round. ¶ ghurnī (from घूर्ण) s. f. A ver- tigo, swimming in the head, rolling. ¶ gharnī (for गृहिणी) s. f. A wife.
