گهاٿيا ghāṭ-iyā S̱. s. m. A Brāhmaṇ who sits in a ghāṭ of the Ganges to keep the clothes, &c. of those that resort to make ablution.

کونپل konpal कोरक S̱. s. f. A young shoot, a bud, an unblown flower.

گهرني ghirnī S̱. (from घूर्ण) s. f. 1. A pulley. 2. An instrument for twisting ropes. 3. A kind of pigeon, the tumbler. ¶ ghirnī khānā, To go round. ¶ ghurnī (from घूर्ण) s. f. A ver- tigo, swimming in the head, rolling. ¶ gharnī (for गृहिणी) s. f. A wife.

کهٿکانا khaṭkānā H s. m. Rapping, thumping, rattling (of a door, &c.).

گرگا gurgā H s. m. 1. A servant boy, brat. 2. Vagabond.

گنبد gumbad P s. m. A vault, an arch, cupola, dome, tower. گنبذ دار gum- baẕ-dār, adj. Vaulted, arched.

کنجيا kanjiyā H s. f. A small stithe or sty.

کلمي kalmī कलम्बी S̱. s. f. Convolvulus re- pens, used as an esculent vegetable.

کموني kammūn-ī A s. f. A medicine in which cumin-seed is mixed.
