کم kam P adj. Deficient, less, little, abated, scanty, rarely, seldom. کم اختلاطي kam-iḵẖtilāt̤-i, s. f. Littleness of intercourse or acquaintance. کم آزاري kam-āzār-ī, s. f. The doing little injury or causing but little trouble. کم اسبابي kam- asbāb-ī, s. f. Deficiency in goods or materials; poverty. کم اصل kam-aṣl, Low bred, vile. کم بخت kam-baḵẖt, Unfortunate (used reproach- fully), wretch, rascally. کم بختي kam-baḵẖt-ī, s. f. Unfortunateness, adversity, misfortune. کم بر kambar, A division of the suits at cards (see under تاج). کم بغل kam-bag̠ẖal, With few followers or attendants. کم بيش kam-besh, More or less. کم پا kam-pā, adj. Of short duration, frail. کم پاٴي kam-pā-ī, s. f. Frailty, instability. کم جرات kam-jurʼat, Cowardly. کم چور kam- chor (for کام چور) A sculker. کم حرکت kam- ḥarakat, Indolent, lazy, sluggish. کم حوصلگي kam-ḥauṣila-gī, s. f. Poor-spiritedness, illibe- rality. کم حوصله kam-ḥauṣila, Unaspiring, un- ambitious, poor-spirited. کم خرچ kam-ḵẖarch, Parsimonious. کم خرچ بالا نشين kam-ḵẖarch bālā-nishīn, Applied to things of good quality purchased cheaply. کم خرچي kam-ḵẖarch-ī, Parsimony. کم خرچي مين آٿاگيلا kam-ḵẖarch-ī meṅ āṭā gīlā, Expresses an expense being un- avoidably incurred by a person who is already in poverty. (If too much water be mixed inad- vertently with flour of which bread is to be made, the paste becomes so thin as to render it necessary to add more flour. The phrase supposes this accident to happen to a person who has not the means of procuring more). کم خرد kam-ḵẖirad, Unwise, ignorant. کم خور kam- ḵẖor, Abstemious, eating little (particularly, applied to a horse). کم خوراک kam-ḵẖorāk, Abstemious, eating little. کم خوراکي kam-
