گهرني ghirnī S̱. (from घूर्ण) s. f. 1. A pulley. 2. An instrument for twisting ropes. 3. A kind of pigeon, the tumbler. ¶ ghirnī khānā, To go round. ¶ ghurnī (from घूर्ण) s. f. A ver- tigo, swimming in the head, rolling. ¶ gharnī (for गृहिणी) s. f. A wife.

کيميا kīmiyā G (Gr. xhmia) s. m. (dakh. s. f.) Alchymy, chymistry. کيميا کرنا kīmiyā-karnā, v. a. (figuratively) To do any thing very well, to work miracles. کيميا گر kīmiyā-gar, s. m. A chymist, an alchymist. کيميا گري kīmiyā-gar-ī, s. f. Alchymy, chymistry.

گوهڙيا gūh-aṛiyā S̱. (from گوه gūh) s. m. A dung- hill, a place where excrement is thrown.

کلبه kulba P s. m. A hut, house, closet, cell, cottage. کلبهٴ احزان kulba-e-aḥzān, An afflicted or distressed family, house of affliction or grief.

گهويان ghoyān H s. f. Name of an esculent root. (Arum colocasia).

کولهو kolʼhū H s. m. An oilmanʼs press. کولہومين پروادينا kolʼhū meṅ parwā denā, To macerate (any thing) in a press, &c.

کهوري khorī H s. f. An alley.

کتيرا katīrā H s. m. A gum resembling traga- canth, obtained from the Sterculia urens of Dr. Roxb.

گنگا gungā H adj. (dakh.) Dumb. See گونگا gūngā.

کلنگ kulang P s. m. 1. A fowl of a large breed. 2. A crane.
