کهلي khillī S̱. s. f. Jest, joke, humour. کهلي باز khillī-bāz, adj. Humorous, playsome, funny. کهلي بازي khillī-bāz-ī, s. f. Humour, fun, play, jocularity. ¶ khallī, Oil-cakes: see khalī.

گهت guhat S̱. (r. गुह Cover) part. Covered, concealed. Plaiting the hair.

کو kū P 1. s. f. A street: see کوي kūʼe. کوبکو kū-ba-kū, Street by street, in every street. 2. adv. Where? ¶ ko (contract. of که او) Which.

گڙنتهہ gaṛanth H s m. 1. Name of a game, tip- cat. 2. A mode of incantation performed for the destruction of any person (māraṇ), to se- cure his affection (mohan), to subject him to obedience (basīkaraṇ), to imprison him or de- prive him of the power of action or speech (stambhan), to drive him away (uchchāṭan), or to call him (ākarsh̤an). Certain words are pronounced over an effigy of the person, or his name in writing, which is afterwards buried.

گزنه gazna H s. A nettle.

گور gor P 1. s. f. A tomb, grave. گور پر گور کرني gor par gor karnī, To seek an employment, office or place which is already occupied. گور غريبان gor-i-g̠ẖarībān, A burying ground for strangers or for the poor. گورکن gor-kan, A grave-digger. 2. s. m. The wild ass: see گورخر gor-ḵẖar.

کشنده kushanda P part. act. (of کشتن) Killing. sub. Killer, murderer.

کڙاکا kaṛākā H s. m. 1. The crash made by breaking any thing. 2. A rigid fast (in which nothing of food or drink has entered the mouth).

کہ‍ار kahār कर्मकार S̱. s. m. A palanquin- bearer.

کهل کهلانا khalkhalānā H v. n. To rumble, to grum- ble (the bowels).
