کالاپتي kālā-pattī S̱. s. f. The act of calking a ship or boat. کالا پتي کرنا kālā-pattī karnā, To calk (a ship, &c.). S̱. H. کالاپن kālā-pan, s. m. Blackness.

گوپهنا gophnā H s. f. A sling (for throwing with).

گيپاٴي gīpā-ī P s. m. A seller of puddings.

گهراو gharūʼā S̱. (गृहवृंद) s. m. A small house made by children to play in.

گاجنا gājnā गर्ज्जन S̱. v. n. 1. To sound, to thunder. 2. To roar as a lion or other wild beast. 3. To be pleased, happy, cheerful, de- lighted.

کشاسن कुशासन kush-āsan S s. m. A mat made of کش kush, q. v.

کانهڙا kānhṛā H s. m. 1. Name of a musical mode or rāginī. 2. A kind of nightingale.

کهٿا پا khuṭā-pā H s. m. (dakh.) See کهوٿائي khoṭā-ī.

کپاري kapārī कपालिन् S̱. s. m. 1. A title of Siva, who carries a skull in his hand and a chain of skulls round his neck. 2. A cavesson. اردهہ کپاري ardh-kapārī (अर्द्धकपालीय) 1. Pain of half the head, Hemicrania. 2. An areca-nut having two kernels, or rather one of those kernels which are convex on one side and flat on the other, where it was in contact with its fellow. (These nuts, from the doctrine of signatures, are said to be a remedy for the He- micrania).

کچهني kachhnī S̱. s. f. A smaller kind of breeches.
