کسر kasr A s. f. 1. Breaking, breach, loss, afflic- tion, a fraction (in arithmetick). 2. Rout, put- ting to flight. 3. The vowel (ِ) sounded like the Ital. short i, or the English i in bill, fin. (Plur. کسرات). کسر و زياد kasr-o-ziyād, or کسري زياد kasr-e ziyād, More or less. (But, these seem to be corruptions of کثر).

کاندها kāndhā S̱. (Sans. स्कन्ध) s. m. The shoulder. کاندها هلانا kāndhā hilānā, To shrug up the shoulders. کاندها دينا kāndhā denā, 1. To as- sist. 2. To carry away the dead.

گهانس ghāṅs S̱. s. m. (dakh.) See گهاس ghās.

گلگل galgal H s. m. 1. A citron. 2. Name of a bird. 3. A mixture of lime and linseed oil forming a kind of mortar impenetrable to water.

گوساٴين gosāʼīṅ S. (गोस्वामी comp. of गो Cow, kine, and स्वामी Master) s. m. 1. The deity. 2. A saint, a holy person. 3. The descendants of the disciples of Chaitanya of Nadiyā.

کاهيده kāhīda P part. pass. (of کاهيدن) Dimi- nished, wasted.
