کثيف kas̤īf A (from کثف) adj. Thick, dense, opaque, gross. کثيف الاوقات kas̤īfu-l-auḳāt, See کسيف الاوقات kasīfu-l-auḳāt, under کسيف.

کال काल kāl S s. m. 1. Death. 2. (met.) A snake. 3. Time, season, age. کال بتانا يا کاٿنا يا گنوانا kāl-bitānā, or -kāṭnā, or gaṅwānā, To waste oneʼs time, to spend time. کال بس هونا kāl-bas honā, To be in the hands of death, to be seized by fate. 4. Dearth, famine. کال پڙنا kāl paṛnā, The coming on of a famine, to hap- pen a famine. 5. Angel of death. 6. Cala- mity. 7. (in Braj for कल्य) To-morrow.

کهلڙي khalṛī S̱. (Sans. खल्या) s. f. 1. Skin, hide, membrane. 2. The prepuce, foreskin.

گنده ganda P (Sans. गंध Odour) adj. Fetid, stinking. گنده بہار ganda-bahār, s. f. Rain which falls in the cold weather. گنده دهن ganda-dahan, adj. Having stinking breath. گنده فيروزه ganda-fīroza, s. m. The name of a drug. (Olibanum).

کهلا khullā S̱. adj. (dakh. from کهلنا khulnā) Open. S̱. H. کہلا بهيجنا kahlā bhejnā, v. a. To send a mes- sage, to send and tell, to inform.

کهٿ پٿ khaṭ-paṭ H s. f. 1. Wrangling, conten- tion, quarrel: see غٿ پٿ g̠ẖaṭ-paṭ. 2. Clashing of weapons.

کهسوٿنا khasoṭnā H v. a. To pull, to pluck, to pull the hair, to scratch, to tear.

کاتنا kātnā S̱. (Sans. कर्त्तन r. कृत् To wrap round) v. a. To spin.
