کهسکهس खस्खस khaskhas S s. f. The poppy- head. (Pers. خشخاش ḵẖashḵẖāsh).

گورا گمٿا gorā gumṭā S̱. adj. (dakh.) Red and white.

کمانا kamānā S̱. (from کام for कर्म्म r. कृ Do, make) v. a. 1. To earn. 2. To work, to per- form, to perpetrate, to commit (crime), to do (good). 3. To clean (leather or a privy), to curry. 4. (from Pers. کم) To lessen, to abate.

گڙهہ gaṛh S̱. (see گڐهہ) s. m. A castle, a fort.

کروه karoh P prop. kuroh (Sans. क्रोश) s. m. A coss, a land measure nearly equal to two miles, but varying in every part of the country.

کهوٴي khoʼī H s. f. 1. The dry part of sugar- cane after expressing the juice. 2. Clothes folded up and put on the head as a defence against rain.

کاک kāk P 1. s. m. Biscuit. 2. Bran. 3. The pupil of the eye. 4. adj. Small, minute.

گهگهرا ghaghrā S̱. s. m. A petticoat. See گهاگهرا.

گليانا galiyānā S̱. v. a. 1. (from गालि) To abuse. 2. (from गल Throat) To cram (a horse, &c.), to force food or medicine down the throat. S̱. P. گلي باز gale-bāz, adj. A sweet singer.
