کنارا kinārā P. (or prop. kanāra) s. m. Side, margin, shore, strand, bank (of a river, &c.), beach, border, coast, part, limit, boundary, edge. کنارا پکڙنا kinārā pakaṛ- nā, To retire. کنارا کرنا kinārā karnā, v. a. To abstain, to refrain, to keep aloof, retire or with- draw (from), to lay aside. کناره کش kināra- kash, Withdrawing. کناري kināre or کناري پر kināre par, Aside, ashore. کناري چڙهنا kināre chaṛhnā, v. n. To run ashore, to strand. کناري هوجانا kināre ho-jānā, To retire, to withdraw.

کڙواس kaṛwā-s S̱. (dakh.) Bitterness, virulence, acidity.

گاهگ gāhak S̱. (Sans. ग्राहक r. ग्रह Take) s. m. A chapman, purchaser, taker or seizer.

کهتراني khatrānī क्षत्रियाणी S̱. s. f. The female of کهتري khatrī, q. v.

گودهولي godhūlī S̱. s. f. (गोधूली) Evening, twilight.
