کرنا karnā S̱. (करण r. कृ Do) v. a. To do, make, form, perform, execute, effect, act, ad- minister, avail, set, thrust, use, coire. s. m. Making, doing, &c. کرني والا karne-wālā, Maker, doer.

کسر kasr A s. f. 1. Breaking, breach, loss, afflic- tion, a fraction (in arithmetick). 2. Rout, put- ting to flight. 3. The vowel (ِ) sounded like the Ital. short i, or the English i in bill, fin. (Plur. کسرات). کسر و زياد kasr-o-ziyād, or کسري زياد kasr-e ziyād, More or less. (But, these seem to be corruptions of کثر).

کيکڙ kīkaṛ H s. m. The acacia tree.

کد خداٴي kad-ḵẖudā-ī P s. f. Establishing a fa- mily, marriage.

کنگره kangura P prop. kungura, s. m. 1. A niched battlement of a castle, &c. 2. A porthole, a vidette. 3. A pinnacle, a turret. 4. A parapet wall. 5. Plumes upon helmets, or ornaments upon crowns. کنگره دار kangura-dār, adj. Spired, having a turret, parapet, &c.

کهيوٿيا khewaṭiyā S̱. (कैवर्त) s. m. A water- man, boatman, rower.

کٿهل kaṭʼhal S̱. (Sans. कंटकिफल) s. m. Name of a fruit and tree. The jack tree and fruit. (Artocarpus integrifolia: Roxb.).

گروانا girwānā H (caus. of گرانا) v. a. To cause to throw down, &c.

گورگ دهندا gorag-dhaṅdā H s. m. (dakh.) 1. Living, life: see زندگاني zinda-gānī. 2. Dis- traction, alarm, disquietude: see تشويش tash- wīsh.
