کردهمري kardhamrī S̱. कटिधारणीय) s. f. A girdle, zone, cordon.

کپال कपाल kapāl S s. m. 1. Skull, cranium; head, forehead. 2. Fate, destiny. کپال پهوٿنا kapāl phūṭnā, To be unfortunate. کپال کريا کرنا kapāl-kriyā karnā, See under s. کپالي kapāl-ī.

گويا guwaiyā H s. f. (gossip) A womanʼs female friend. adj. Eloquent, conversible.

گونگان کرنا gūṅgāṅ karnā S̱. (from गुण Good quality, and गान Singing) v. a. To sing, to celebrate, to prattle (or crow) as infants.

گندهرب गन्धर्ब्ब gandharb S s. m. A celestial musician, a class of demi-gods who inhabit In- draʼs heaven, and form the orchestra at the banquets of the principal deities. گندهرب بياه gandharb-byāh, A kind of marriage. گندهرب گيت gandharb-gīt, A gandharb-song, a kind of song or singing.

کهونچي khonchī H s. f. 1. Any thing stuffed into another, as grass into thatch. 2. Trifling pur- chases. 3. Part of grain which is to be parched taken as pay by the person who parches it. 4. Something paid by those who draw water at a well to the bihishtī, who attends there with his bucket, for the use of it.
