کره kura A (for کُرة from کرو Heb. ) s. m. A globe, orb, any thing spherical. کرهٴ آتش kura- i-ātash, The region of fire. کرهٴ آب kura-i-āb, The region of water. کرهٴ ارض kura-i-arẓ, The terrestrial globe. کرهٴباد kura-i-bād, The region of wind. کرهٴ خاک kura-i-ḵẖāk, The globe of earth.

گرد gurd P adj. Brave, valorous, warlike.

کرپال kirpāl कृपालु S̱. adj. Compassionate, liberal, obliging, kind, benevolent, propitious.

کچلا kuchlā H s. m. A vomick nut. (Strychnos nux vomica. Sans. कुलक). ¶ kachlā, s. m. Clay. H. S̱. کچل دينا يا ڐالنا kuchal-denā, or -ḍālnā, v. a. To bruise, &c. to overlay.

کٿنا kaṭnā S̱. (r. कृत् Cut) v. n. 1. To be cut, to be clipped or cut off. 2. To be spent or passed (time, life, &c.). 3. To be abashed, to be in- terrupted. 4. To die of wounds.

گيہان gaihān P s. m. The world.

گوگرد gogird P s. Sulphur. گوگرداحمر gogird-i-ahmar, Red sulphur; the philosopherʼs stone.

کويڙي koʼeṛī H s. m. A planter, a husbandman, a gardener, name of a Hindū cast whose pro- fession is husbandry.

گنجينه ganj-īna P s. m. A treasury, a magazine.

گوپهنا gophnā H s. f. A sling (for throwing with).
